Flo-N-Grow Hydro SystemThis system is arriving in our stores this month. The Flo-N-Gro comes complete with 12 bucket growing sites, 55 gallon food grade reservoir and all the necessary plumbing to connect the system together. The Flo-N-Gro has made several improvements over its rivals: The larger 3/4" tubing and fill lines improve the water exchange and flow rates and allows a quicker flow of nutrients to your plants and more efficient drainage from the buckets so that the plants are not sitting in stagnant water. The upgraded controller, Oceanus-1, features fully digital technology allowing you to set several watering patterns for your plants. It also includes LED lights that indicate the "Fill" or "Drain" function and the whole controller is housed in a plastic enclosure that resists dust and moisture to ensure that it will work for many years. The Flo-N-Gro also features a 360 degree mesh bucket insert for each grow site to allow maximum oxygen to your plants thus helping the growing process. Best of all, the Flo-n-Gro offers a full 3 year warranty. This great hydroponics system will be in stock by the end of the month. Be sure to stop by and check it out! Tips For Indoor GrowingRoot Rot? A way to cure root rot is to mix 1 part of Hydrogen Peroxide to 40 parts water. Dip the roots into the mixture for 30 seconds and then place back into your grow system. The best way to avoid root rot is to not allow your plants to have prolonged exposure to over-watering. Monitor closely! Pollination. Vegetables and other plants can be hand-pollinated by using a Q-tip or small paint brush in order to transfer the pollen from the male flower to the female. Make sure to use a new Q-tip or clean brush when pollinating more than one type of the same plant. Staff Highlight: Adam B.Adam has been with Harry's for about two years. A hydroponics home hobbyist himself, Adam brings a lot of hands-on experience to the Harry's team, and is an authority on hydro nutrients. Adam helps to run our Warren grow room and has his own special, hard to find, Gilopia Hot Peppers growing in the room. These rare peppers are usually found in the very treacherous mountain areas of Northeast Asia. Adam obtained these rare seeds when he was doing missionary work in the region to help supply water and cable TV to areas that had neither. Adam is also a talented artist who has painted the mural on the grow room wall. Besides hydroponics, Adam also collects small Hummel figurines and fixes horse races. Adam is looking for the "Berta" figurine to complete his Small Blessing collections. Stop by today to talk to Adam about Hydroponic nutrients ... or figurines. |
